Mobile IV Therapy in Mora, Idaho

Mora is a name you will find on a road sign more than on a map: Kuna-Mora Road still runs east out of Kuna toward the place it was named for. Mora sat on the old trail to the Silver City mines, about a mile and a quarter east of Kuna along Indian Creek. Before the canals, Kuna’s first settlers hauled water in barrels from the Snake River and later from a well dug in the dry bed of Indian Creek near Mora. A railroad stop drew families here between 1907 and 1909, and by 1910 there were enough children to build the Mora Schoolhouse, for $2,900. The school closed in the 1950s after its well was contaminated and was sold in 1966. The building still stands on Kuna-Mora Road, now a private home and one of the last traces of the town.
