Mobile IV Therapy in Marsing, Idaho

Marsing sits on the south bank of the Snake River in Owyhee County, where State Highway 55 crosses over from Canyon County on its way from Nampa. The flats here were first known as Henderson Flats, and the land to the west as Claytonia. Before there was a bridge, travelers crossed the river on the Nampa Ferry. A site near the ferry was chosen for a bridge across the Snake, and in 1920 a town site was platted on the south side of the river and named for an early settler, Marsing. The post office opened in 1921, and in 1922 the Oregon Short Line extended its branch line from Homedale. Two miles west, Highway 55 meets U.S. Route 95, and State Highway 78 heads southeast toward Murphy and Grand View. About 1,229 people lived in town at the 2020 census.
