Mobile IV Therapy in Dublin, California

Dublin takes its name from Ireland. Irish settlers bought land from José María Amador in 1850 and founded a town at the crossroads, and the post office adopted the name in the 1890s; before that the area was called Alamilla Springs, after a spring near today’s Dublin Boulevard and Dougherty Road. Amador’s 1835 grant of 16,500 acres had already given the Amador Valley its name. The Murray Schoolhouse opened in 1856 with 50 pupils, Old St. Raymond’s Church went up in 1859, and Green’s Store followed in 1860; all three still stand where Dublin Boulevard meets Donlon Way. Dublin Boulevard itself once carried the Lincoln Highway. The first housing tracts reached West Dublin in 1960, the city incorporated in February 1982, and by 2020 about 72,600 people lived here.
