Mobile IV Therapy in Moss, Idaho

Moss is a place you are more likely to meet on your phone than on a sign. It sits about midway between Nampa and Caldwell, roughly three miles northwest of Nampa and four southeast of Caldwell, along the road that became U.S. 30 in 1926 and before that carried the Old Oregon Trail Highway. The Idaho State Historical Society records that it was named for A. B. Moss, a local rancher. In the railroad era it was a stop between the two towns: a 1930 Rand McNally Air Trails map marks Moss, and so do lists of Union Pacific stops. In 1985 the Caldwell-to-Nampa stretch of U.S. 30 became Business Interstate 84, today’s Nampa-Caldwell Boulevard. Moss never had a census count of its own, yet mapping apps still label the spot, and neighbors on the Boulevard sometimes find “Moss” as their location.
