Mobile IV Therapy in La Jolla, San Diego
La Jolla’s name is usually traced to the Kumeyaay mat kulaaxuuy, “land of holes,” probably for the sea caves in its north-facing bluffs, though many prefer the Spanish la joya, “the jewel.” Under Mexico it was mapped as pueblo land of about sixty lots, and in 1870 Charles Dean subdivided some of them as La Jolla Park before giving up and leaving in 1881. The railway from San Diego arrived in the 1890s and turned the Cove into a resort, with a bath house, a dance pavilion and a summer tent city; two cottages from 1894, the Red Roost and the Red Rest, were long the oldest buildings still on their original sites. By 1900 La Jolla had 100 buildings and 350 residents. Today it runs along seven miles of coastline, from the Cove to UC San Diego, and we serve it two ways: a nurse at your address, or a visit to our clinic on Prospect Street.
Mobile visits across 92037
We cover 92037 from the Village and La Jolla Shores up to the streets below Mount Soledad, with Pacific Beach and the rest of central San Diego on the same route. There is no travel fee in the ZIP codes we cover. Book a La Jolla house call, or come to the clinic during its hours. See all San Diego mobile IV areas.
Between visits
La Jolla Cove is the small cliff-lined beach inside a marine reserve, a favorite of snorkelers; Birch Aquarium at Scripps shows more than 9,000 animals; the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego has a La Jolla location by the water; and La Jolla Playhouse stages new work on the UC San Diego campus.
Making the approach easy
La Jolla climbs from the shore up Mount Soledad, 822 feet high, so give us the cross street, any gate or building code, and where to park. For a Village hotel the hotel name and room number are enough, and for a group one person books and prepays one IV while the rest pay when the nurse arrives.
In addition to mobile services, we have a physical clinic location in La Jolla at 909 Prospect St Ste 100-D, La Jolla, CA 92037 to provide our IV services, including all of our traditional IV cocktails, the new ASAP Mini IV Push (all the vitamin benefits of the full IV, without the liter of fluid), and our IM shots, all at a convenient physical location! Grab a drink from Better Buzz or walk down to the La Jolla Cove while you are in the area!
We are open every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We accept walk-ins as well as booked visits. Clinic visits use their own booking calendar, linked below.
